ARRGGH BOLLOCKS!!! All of a sudden I am unstable!
Screw that, 1.280 and more FSB. I refuse to take **** from my PC!!!
Got me 80mm Noctua, so ULNA adapter and a bit of cooling for both the chipset and soundcard, with no damage to the airflow in the case (I think).

Is CPU stability dependant only on resulting frequency or does FSB play a role too?

    Getting slightly hopeless here.

    VCORE 1.36250 + LLC on
    MCH core 1.28
    trying 540x7.5

Tested whole range of 1.2-1.34 VTT with both 0.720 and 740 MCH ref (@1.2 VTT)
-the whole thing twice, once for 0.570 and 2nd time for 0.590 PLL

PLL doesn't seem to have any noticeable influence... on average it is the same
I can boot into Windows ok, but Prime95 usually fails within 1 to 4 minutes. There are like 3 combinations where I could test for 30 minutes.

    Ideas?
I don't think I should need more VCORE... And I am sceptical about >0.740 MCH ref.

I gotta start praying to the big purple toad.

MCH ref to 0.700 and then 0.680. Higher than 0.760 is usually a no go area at such high clocks. Even at a mere 411 FSB I can't boot at all unless it's 0.780 or lower, and 0.780 freezes on the desktop.

    roflmao!!!

I am having moderate luck with "normal" setting, rather than specific numbers. At least it is MUCH more stable. I will experiment lower though (if I can't get stable with this).
