    Hi,

    Please don't close :-)

Please report what memory speed you can reach.
Mine memory kit is as yours, I can reach "only" 1850.
Timings not helped. If you can reach more, maybe I would tweak them again.

Nice to hear that your problem solved.

    @pubem
My OCZ dimms are a little diffrent than yours. Mine is a Non XMP DIMM, OCZ3P1600LV6GK Kit .

    It Looks stable @ 1600 , 7,7,7,24 , 1T @ 1.66V and 1.35V QPI/VTT.

I havent tried overclocking beyong 1600 MHz yet want to ensure the stability at 1600 MHz first. Will experiment a little more in the next couple of days and keep this thread updated.

@ 1850 MHz Mem what timings are you using and the Voltages?

Were you sucessfull at running anything close to 4.0 GHz ? 200 Mhz Bclk?

Prime Stable 12 hrs , OOCT stable 3 hrs ( didnt have time to run it for more than 3 hrs).

    i920 C0 - 3360 MHz , 1.25V CPU V core
    OCZ - OCZ3P1600LV6GK @ 1600 , 7,7,7,24 , 1T @ 1.66V and 1.35V QPI/VTT.

Max CPU temperature during 15 Hrs of total stress tests - 69 C.

Now i feel fairly confident that the DIMMS are stable and I think am gonna slow;y start overclocking them higher!

Target - 175 MHz Bclk , DIMMS @ 1750 MHz - Timings would love to see Cas 7 work.... will keep the thread posted with results.

    Hi Nforce,

    Sorry for late response.

So my max is 3990, and memory about 1850 with 10-10-10-28.
    voltage is default 1.64.

On 1860-1870 there are errors, but this is a nice result I think from 1600 ram.

Now I'm going for an 1866 version of this ram, I have to chance to replace them. (and go for 12GB)

Ouch, you should not have to use CAS 10 for only 18xx speed, unless you do not have things set right or the memory is not of good quality. I have 2 sets of 1600 here that will both do 2000+ with CAS 9

There was no problem on 9-9-9-27 too,
but because this was for 1800, when I goes over 1800 I have used this easier timings. Only for safety.
(factory overclock xmp profile for this stick was 9-9-9-27 on 1800)

Benchmarks not showed any painful performance lost so it was ok for me for everyday usage.

Present moment I have still pain with my new ocz 1866 platinum.
Much worse results than intel extreme.

I just emailing with ocz support to find the problem.

2000+ for 1600 ram ?? Nice :-) (what kind of ram and there is any log about it, how do you do that ?)

i have the 1800 reaper cas8 which is pretty good i think the 1866 is cas 9 maybe its because you have 12gb you cant run tight timings not as tight as if youd have 6gb
