actually There is a minor change to the layout right by the ddr slots where it says 1600 fsb green ide/power connector [ actually in front of power connector].this pick [ref 1.6 webpage] is not the rev 1.6 board but 1.1 board picture. On my rev 1.6 board its easy to spot resistors and little surface mount stuff changed. the 3 pin power connector is moved about an inch higher closer to top ddr clip. if i took a pic with my camcoder i would have to finnalize the disc hence wasting the rest of the disk..sorry

Use the F9 bios from the rev 1.6 page.
Well, now I'm confused....I see no F9 BIOS on the rev 1.6 page:

    GIGABYTE - Support&Download - Motherboard - BIOS - GA-EP45-UD3P (rev. 1.6)

Are we talking a different page here?

Confirmed. A good friend of mine has purchased the 1.6 board from scan. It arrived yesterday with the FA BIOS.

    The latest version is FB.

Poking around in the BIOS itself, nothing has changed as far as I can tell. Don't know if it performs any better or worse than the EP45-UD3R he has, as he's gradually building components up for another system and quote: Didn't want me taking the board away and not bringing it back for weeks". Ha ha! As if I would do that!

they had F1-F9 bios on the 1.6 page, when I posted in this thread.

I guess they took them off and replaced with the correct bios.

Must have been one of the Gigabyte guys having a bad day. It's a good job there's a check sum to make sure you can't easily cross flash or else they'd have had alot of unhappy people with £100 paper weights.

It is all just because I had to request these pages to be added to the sites you guys are going to.

It (This Revision) should have originally only been sold in certain locations IE: Not the locations where you guys are buying the boards. So yes the pages had to be added to the other domains, then updated and corrected with the proper BIOS's. It did take a few days for the right BIOS's to be on the right pages sadly. Hope no one had any issues due to that, seems like it would be easy to correct the BIOS versions at the same time as posting the revision to the page... but who knows maybe that guy had to leave in the middle of getting it all done?

FB is the latest and correct BIOS for Rev 1.6 as stated on page two for anyone who is still unsure.

Don't mean to hijack anyone's thread here...Is there an app that will read the BIOS setting for a written copy as you have above? Or do you just have to take time and make meticulous notes?

IMO a great idea for all you coders out there.
    Thanks,
    Chris
