The only HX series Micro Center has is the 1000 watt monster and I can't afford it also it's overkill for my system. What do you think about the TX 650? They have it for the same price as Newegg after mir. I don't have a credit card so MC is my only option. Micro Center - TX 650 Watt ATX Power Supply

The TX650 is a great PSU. Different innards to the HX series, but just as good from a quality standpoint. Go for it.

hey all, hope some people are still viewing this thread. I had this problem when i first built my machine, only it would power on, off, then on and stay on. Now im at the point whenever i exit the bios , it continuously reboots, spins up and lites up for a sec, sometimes 10, then powers back down. I use the ex58 ud3r with a i7920 and corsair tx750. It cannot be the power supply. My brothers identical machine is doing the same thing. all the same components. but i will try what you mentioned earlier. Thanks guys and anything at all that you think may help, please let me know. let us work together. Gigabytes website emailed me back and pretty much said you have to figure it out yourself.
