    Exclamation EP45-UD3R Overclocking - Tough Issue -

    System Configurations:
    -Mainboard: EP45-UD3R
    -Processor: C2D E8400
    -VGA: Nvidia 9500GT 1GB DDR2
    -RAM: 2x2GB Kingston HyperX 1066 Mhz Ram (KHX8500D2/2G)
    -CPU Cooler: Asus V60

    First without any overclocking i couldn't get my ram to work at 1066 :S
    i took the ram timings from the official website which came out to be 5-5-5-18 with 1.8v , and 5-5-5-15 2.25V but i could never boot with it.

    i searched the forum and tried this template ( A ) but still i couldn't boot, nothing comes on screen and then bios reloads the old settings and reboot.

    1)Please Advice, how can i run my ram on 1066MHZ ?
    2)If you have any over clocking advice please mention it, i dont know how far can i go with this system.

    This is Extreme headach.
    You're using 2x2GB and your MCH Core is too low.
    Why even bother overclocking before you ensured your system can work at it's specs?
    Do some reading, stabilize your system and tune it to best performance at stock FSB, then do a little more reading, than you can begin overclocking.

    Adjust you System Memory Multiplier .
    Then use memtest to Test your new memory frequency settings.

    i used EXtreme at the 2nd template the first template i applied had this option set to standard !! and what is the problem of using 2 X 2GB ?
