Default GA-EX58-UD4P Windows 7 64-bit NIC connecting problems

Everytime I log in to windows my computer looks up until the Network Internet Access resolves the connecting issues.

This takes about a minute every single time.

I tried the latest motherboard_driver_lan_realtek_8111_vista from the download page and didn't help at all.

What am I doing wrong here as I haven't found others with this issue?

    Thank you.

Well you need the Windows 7 driver, whether it be x64 or x86, you can download it from the Realtek website.

    Realtek

Download the Auto Installation program (5272k) instead of the .INF (291k) since it's easier to uninstall (gives you an uninstaller) and there are less chances of having IRQ conflicts.

Thanks SolidBladez, I just installed that driver and nothing changed.
Still takes a long time for it to start working

Which build of Windows 7 are you using?

    I never had any issues with 7100 x64 RC, 7201 x64, 7232 x64, or 7264 x64.

    Using Windows 7RC x64 bit.

Hmm... I'll try a few more things tomorrow before a new install.

    Thanks tho.

I am having a similar problem. When using the Realtek adapter on my EX58 UD4P browsing is extremely slow with numerous "broken" connections.
I am presently dual boot with both Windows 7 x64 7264 and Vista Home Premium x64 sp2. I have downloaded the current drivers from the Realtek site and the problem is identical with both OSs.
It is not the connection or router because my wireless N connection is very fast.
I am beginning to suspect a hardware problem with the board.

Changed the Ethernet cable - problem solved.

Correction - It was fine for a bit but the connection dropped. Wireless is still fast and solid.
