Default GA-EP45UD3P and 2 pin SPDIF out from video card

My XFX Gerforce 216 video card has a 2 pin SPDIF output... but it looks like the motherboard takes 3 pin SPDIF input.. anyone know how this is supposed to work? or has gotten it to work?

    Thanks

theres a correct 2 pin right under the video card. right behind the pciex16 slot. its not a very smart place to put a 2 pin input, cause the videocard crushes it. bad gigabyte :P
