Nothing else. Now all i need is to load it onto flash drive and go into qflash upon bootup. And also enable the "legacy drive" thing in bios.

EDIT: BTW, the file looks like this ex58ud4p.f9c and its 1mb in size.
That is correct. If you were to download say from the Gigabyte website, it has a few other files that are needed for other flash methods but you only need that file you listed when using a USB flash drive. And yeah make sure "legacy drive" is enabled in the BIOS.

I make sure to revert to the default settings (Load Optimized defaults) prior to flashing, just in case. And then after I flashed, I then Load Optimized defaults again.

I passed (skipped) over the "making bootable USB flash drive" section of the guide. Do I need to follow those instructions?
Maybe that is the reason Qflash is not seeing the USB flash drive? Only the floppy is coming up.

What's the size of your flash drive? I know that (in the past at least) that some BIOSes didn't recognize anything larger than 2GB.

So you have Legacy USB Storage Detect as Enabled?

I am going to run just normal tasks and tests for a couple days. Thanks again for all your help
Just went through vantage for the first time.
Any good overclocking tutorials for this board? I am going to be looking for something in the neighborhood of 3.6, and i do have a D0 step.
