DDR Memory voltage needs to be turned up a little. It also may be a good idea to slip the memory into the white slots of your motherboard.
After making changes please go into BIOS PC Health Status allow temperatures to level and post results again. Phenom II 550 maximum temperature (70C) You may want to keep an eye on temperatures a while. Let us know how that goes thanks.

Ok, I got the bios image and flashed the bios off a 1 gig stick. Feww, always scared of flashing the bios.

But one of the sata ports didn't work. The one i had my boot drive on. Didn't show in bios either. So i replugged/resat it.. no dice. Plugged in into another sata port *different controller* and it's up and running once again.

So i remember this comp working here at work *where i'm toubleshooting it* but when i take it home it starts acting up.

I'm at this on the bios right now

    PC Health Status
    Reset Case Open Status [Disabled]
    Case Opened No
    Vcore 1.440V
    DDR3 1.5V 1.664V
    +3.3V 3.3128V
    +12V 12.048V - 12.112 (fluxuates)
    Current System Temperature 39oC
Current CPU Temperature 41oC (when down :)
Current CPU FAN Speed 2190RPM (also when down :(
Current SYSTEM FAN1 Speed 0 RPM
Current SYSTEM FAN2 Speed 0 RPM
Current POWER FAN Speed 780 RPM
    CPU Warning Temperature [Disabled]
    CPU FAN Fail Warning [Disabled]
    SYSTEM FAN1 Fail Warning [Disabled]
    SYSTEM FAN2 Fail Warning [Disabled]
    POWER FAN Fail Warning [Disabled]
    CPU Smart FAN Control [Enabled]
    CPU Smart FAN Mode [Auto]
    System Smart FAN Control [Enabled]

When booting up that line that goes updating DMI! *does not say success anymore*

Windows 7 seems ok here. Going to take it home, hopefully all is well, I can live without one sata port gone.

    Thanks for the help artdrivers.

    Your welcome seepi
Voltage fluctuates? Good they should that means the voltage readings are constantly changing in BIOS. The SATA port issue could be a compatibility issue. You have 2 different controllers. If you use the SATAII_0 through 5 Are you using a SATA DVD drive? some prefer IDE mode some just don't work with the same controller the HDD is on. Are you running in AHCI mode? If so you may want to plug the hardrive into SATAII_0, and the DVD drive into the SATAII_ 4 or SATAII_5. Then go into BIOS and Change It just depends on what you need. If it ain't broke then don't fix it. RAID is for when you want to run multiple HDD together. So anyway I did not show RAID settings below.
    Code:
    Integrated Peripherals
    OnChip IDE Channel [Enabled]
    OnChip SATA Controller [Enabled]
OnChip SATA Type [Native IDE] AHCI if os has ahci drivers otherwise ide
x OnChip SATA Port4/5 Type [IDE] for DVD drive
    Onboard Audio Function [Enabled]
Onboard GSATA-II Ctrl [Enabled] This is the other controller
Onboard GSATA-II Ctrl Mode [IDE] This is the other controllers mode
    Onboard LAN Function [Enabled]
    Onboard LAN Boot ROM [Disabled]
     SMART LAN [Press Enter]
    Onboard 1394 Function [Enabled]
    OnChip USB Controller [Enabled]
    USB EHCI Controller [Enabled]
    USB Keyboard Support [Enabled]
    USB Mouse Support [Disabled]
    Legacy USB storage detect [Enabled]
    Onboard Serial Port 1 [3F8/IRQ4]

At home, things are running well right now, Thanks again. How do i tell if i am running in AHCI mode?

I originally had the drive on the second controller with 2 sata ports to it.. Now it's on the the first controller, one with 0-5...

DVD drive is ide, why waste a sata for a dvd drive anyway :p hehe

Not running Raid, i have 5 drives that are all different models/sizes....

I remember when i was running into issues, the usb mouse was doing funny things also usb flash drives wouldn't recognize on this machine, now they seem to working fine. So far so good, going to run it a while like this, if any other problems come up i will be back.

if there is anything i can do to repay yah let me know.

    Cheers

I didn't know if you are running in AHCI. Your answer suggests you are not. I was thinking you might be, but your not. OK Your GSATAII is not enabled. But the SATAII runs off the AMD southbridge chipset and it works better. So back to 'If it isn't broke don't fix it. Sounds good but it's new settings so keep an eye on temperatures. If you have Windows here is a good little program for that. It also shows voltages the second voltage vin1 is memory voltage, which is kinda hard to find on some programs. ---> CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting
Otherwise you may want to find one for your OS.
