    That's more reasonable temps, still a little high, I get 45c when ambiant goes above 90f.
    Please report CPU temps with CoreTemp or RealTemp as this is the common reference used in the forum. I guess they are 10-15c higher but better know than speculate.

    When on auto BIOS raise the voltages when overclocking, not nesesserally to the optimum value,. You like ly need more VCore at 3.4Ghz.
    I can't comment about the memory unless I see yiur settings. Forum paper is free - don't save on it.

    Your HS is better than my CNPS8700 so it may hold up to 3.4-3.6Ghz.
    I am not familiar eith CPU Termination yet (I'm just about 2 weeks less green than you) haven't had to use it yet, and I don't have PLL so I don't know about this either.
    Yes MCH Core, 1.1 as in BIOS maybe you can take it up a little to eliminate the posibility memory is the issue. 1.1-1.2v should work for 2x1GB.

    Leaving voltages other than the references while overclocking is dangerous, so I read in the forum. Set them to BIOS suggested values and chnage them as needed.

    Disabling XMP end leaving timings on auto will make the BIOS compute values based on the SPD profile instead os the EPP, select the profile you were using before.
    The timing values defined in memory SPD and EPP are given in time, so when you overclocking the memory the numbers would not be as you see them in the spec, BIOS will calculate the right values to according to memory speed when on auto.

    What you see in BIOS is not a;ways the actual applied settingsm use MemSet to see the actual values applied. Posting a screen capture of MemSet main and SPD window can also make things more clear.

    I thought the plan was 400FSB did it change?

    ill i get to 4.0 if i have to pay someone
    anyways
    been working on my voltages could be another issue here i cant get it stable with anything other than auto except up to about 3.33ghz oc but can hit 343 on auto i can boot to windows up to 3.75 but crashes when i play left 4 dead 343 is the highest i get were it plays like flippin awsome
    vcore voltage keep getting a blue screen after booting to xp @343 fsb
    its like you say actual and the reading are different by + or - 1/2 volt
    Im getting up the balls to run 1.4+ volts probably up there already anywaywith the small oc ive been running with the dreaded termination voltage set to auto
    Im probably messing with to many settings all the fsb\ram
    thanks for the xmp tip profile 2 the correct setting then ill try that
    I really could use a little of an attack plan

    So you can get to 3.4Ghz, you may as well do it with 400FSB. You can probably get higher, just need to learn how to tune the settings. I don't know how, but many others do.

    I was talking about memory timings readings, voltage is a totaly different storry.
    The are two kinds of voltage drop, one is the difference between what you set and what actualy applied at idle, it's called Vdrop, the other is the difference between idle and load, it's called Vdroop (someone correct me if I am wrong)
    Both are something you need to pay attention to, but caused by different reasons the memory settings are.

    Probably, I think I have mentioned it at the beginning, playing with the settings without the know how might get you overclocked but not to the max and most effitient possible settings.

    I am currently stuck at 3.4Ghz, for temperature reason but also the lake of know how. (my knowledge ends with VCore/MCH Cire lol)
    Lets take you to the max I know, then get help for both os us.

    The pictures didn't take, you can use tinypic.com that's what I use.
    I see your Fine CPU Clock Ratio is grayed out, is it always or just when you set CPU Clock Ration to 10?
    I was able to get 3.4Ghz@400FSB by raising the VCore only, I also raise MCH Core to 1.2 but it might not be needed. I would think that will work for you too.
    Try 8x400FSB with your current VCore, it is actually less CPU speed than you are now, and other voltages set to their default values (refs on auto.)
    Set MCH Core to 1.2v.
    Select the right memory multiplier for DDR-1200, 3.0D.
    You may also want to set Static tRead Value manually, set it to be greater than what you see in MemSet with current settings but not less than 8.

    When in windows (hopefully) open EasyTune and ORTHOS or Prime95 and run mall test first, if it fail raise VCore 2 notches in EasyTune and click set, try again untill you get 10 loops with no error.
    The voltages set with EasyTune are not saved in BIOS, right your "stable" Vcore you see in EasyTune and set it in BIOS the next time you reboot.
    Always watch your temps, dont let RealTemp go above 70c, < 67c preffered.
    When you have 10 small FFT loops with no errors, try large FFT, also do at least 10 loops with out error.
    This does not mean the computer is stable, but it is somewhat stable, to be more sure at it's stability you need a blend test overnight.
    ORTHOS and Prime 95 put a lot of stress on the system, but they are no match to IBT or LinX. If you want a higher level of certainty of your stability you need to run those. And of course after that dauly use will tell if it's stable.

    You can move on to a higher multiplier or if you feel satisfied leave an overnight stress test.
    Be sure temps don't go up at night, ot you can use OCCT:OCCT CPU test instead Prime95 or ORTHOS, you can set max core temp in it's setting so it would stop if temps reach that value.

    ill have to play with that a little more gots to have proof
    stock multiplier is 10 on the e7300 i do believe and yes i think thats correct enter any other number removes the grey
    played with that a little and the results were insignifcant tried 6-9 didnt mess with the fine tune was able to get higher fsb speeds 450 or so on 6
    intel locked these chips at 10 clocks i do believe funny they let you go slower must be a green thing.Im real close to 4.0ghz i can not quite load windows but i can get through the post i just need a couple more tweaks

    The 1.4v CPU Termination looks too high, I don't know much about this parameter I only know it may be harmfull to the CPU.
    Getting fixed on 4Ghz may get you no where even if the CPU is capable of doing it.
    Going up with multipliers help you fine tune the setting to their optimum and give you better start point for the next multiplier.
