Have you tried things without the .5 multi? Just wondering as I always found those to be troublesome

CPU Vtt (Termination) and PLL should NEVER Be left in AUTO, this is likely killing your CPU now if it has not already done damage. Please fix this ASAP.

Auto will give 1.8+ PLL and 1.5+ Vtt at 4Ghz, not sure how much more that would be at 4.3 but at 4Ghz that's already WAY TO MUCH

MCH Ref can't be tuned until you find a stable Vtt, and that can't be found until you are sure what MCH Core and tRD you are going to stick with. So you have a lot of work to do I would say

No matter what you do or dont do in regards to MCH Ref, MCH Core and Vtt, please get Vtt and PLL out of auto.
You are very welcome! Thank you for your support!

I knew I needed to do more tuning, but was unsure what to set manually. Good thing I posted my setup. Anybody know any shortcuts?

I have tried many other multipliers, including 9.0, 8.0, 8.5, etc. But I have found 9.5 to be the best for Idle speed. It enables me to use a lower FSB and idles at 2.2GHz. I will try other dividers to stabilize higher than 4.3GHz. When I used them before I was not going for such a high OC.

Phisherman, I'd imagine you will have better luck with whole # multi's but then again I do not use CIA2 so it may react way different.

Yes Nimrod the X48 came out in late 07 early 08 I believe and the P45 just came out last fall.

Well Far out. I did not know that. I thought the X48 was like way new and stuff? Oh well at least I still have 2 X 16 PCI-e slots witch I guess is good for the Crossfire. So thats probably why this has ICH9R and most P45 have ICH10/R. Oh well. Next time it wil be X58

Intel tend to release enthusiast chipsets first, probably to try and shift a few before more reasonably priced stuff comes out. X38 was also released before P35, and X58 has been released before P55, etc.

    ^^ Right!!

Just to shaft the enthusiasts before shafting the mainstream customers is all. We all get the shaft though, just at different times

Still no luck getting past 4.3GHz, even with whole multipliers. My temps skyrocket if I try to raise Vcore much more.

I just noticed ET6 is still a little buggy. Was opening a program while stressing and caught a 6.65GHz reading.

Seems that none of them agree with each other.

Yeah, I noticed each program has a different way of reporting this. Most of the time they agree, but RealTemp only shows max FSB/Ratio/MHz, if opened while stressing.

I believe ET6 is the most accurate, but has a slightly slow refresh rate. Here is an idle screenshot.

Don't you have CIA2 enabled anymore? This seems like something that may cause all the confusion if each program is loaded under different CPU load.
