Default PCI wireless card stalled computer

My new build is shown in my sig below. I can run windows 7RC (or winxp) and Linus dual boot.
Since I have my system overclocked (somehow stable), I have set the pci frequency to 101.

My problem is that I can not load driver for my pci wireless card under win7RC or winxp. When I boot into linus, it stalled while booting. The pci card is good, because I can run it in another pc with dual boot winxp and linus.

BTW, I am on version F6 bios.

So, my question to the people in the know about this mother board (GA X58 UD3R), what should I set the pci frequency to. When I run it at default bios, which has pci at 100, it still does the same thing

    Thanks

I think it is supposed to be locked to 100 to prevent any damage, I just want to know, is the peformance enhance for your system set to standard?

Yes, performance is set to standard.
When I run it at default bios which is no overclock, and pci is at 100, my pci card still does not work,

BTW, many overclockers set it to 101, but not sure if it is true for this board.

do you get this problem with either socket?

your problem has me stumped why it would still occur when the pc's not overclocked

Yes, I have tried both pci sockets, same problem. In fact, one of the pci socket has IRQ5 for both this wireless card and also local network controller.

Sorry Conners. This one is on the pci frequency, and I did not get much response. So, I started the second one.
edit: also, I thought the second thread was under "Technical Support" where the Gigabyte people are present.

Moderator, please delete this thread. Sorry.

Its not a problem to me just asking. Everything I hear about PCI Frequency is to manually set it to 100.

Have you tried a diffrent pci slot? Have you looked at the event viewer to see what error is occuring whwn it hangs? Just some thoughts.

Thanks for the idea of looking at the event view. I'll do it when I get home.
