    Well I hate to say it, but the answer for me seems to be Asus. I return EP45-UD3R and got an Asus P5Q. It's been up and running for 1.5 days, no issues. In fact a few things I thought were related to Win7 RC (some programs crashing and such) have also gone away. I have not gotten into any tweaking yet (but I'll only do the very basics anyway). But this build was much more like the GA-EX38-DS4 build before it. It just woked out of the box.
