    Default "Backup BIOS image to HD" What is it?

    Recently I have updated my BIOS and I found this option.

    I enabled it but I am not sure what it does?

    Could anyone help me?

    it is for if the main and back up bios if your board has it get corrupted it will restore bios image from the hdd to boot again.

    Backup works but it doesn't save your custom settings..or at least mine didn't
