    Default EX58-UD4P keyboard/mouse error

    Greetings all
I recently purchased a Gigabyte EX58-UD4P motherboard to go with my new i7-920 chip. Although my pc boots without error and I can use the keyboard to access the bios, whenever i boot into XP it's as if the keyboard and mouse are no longer detected which means I am unable to install the new drivers for windows. I've tried using my Merc Stealth keyboard and Razer Deathadder mouse via USB and also a separate keyboard and mouse combination via the two allocated ports in the rear with the same results. As I'm using a Corsair HX1000w psu with 6gb [3x2gb] of Corsair DDR3 ram I feel that I have enough power and memory to be able to successfully boot my pc. Any information/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanx in advance

In bios, integrated peripherals, you need to enable keyboard and mouse. For some reason they are disabled by default. This should fix the problem.
