    Default Another crashing issue gv-nx96t512hp + ga-ep45c-ds3 + Q8200

    I think i have a compatibility issues..a friend has tried to tweak the bios from the forums here but im not so accomplished in this area and reading the forum have not found any posts with the specs below.

    Well is the information enough that i give? So I have Windows 7 64 installed and previously had Vista 64..I installed 7 to understand if it was a software or hardware problem.Its seems though some tweaking is need. I really hope the compatibility issues can be resolved ..

    Amd the problem is?

    Post the problem details, fill the following template with you BIOS settings, both suggested and set. It's just a template so ignore the values, replace the with your own. If there some settings missing add them, and delete those that are not applicable to your board. Post the settings wraped with code tags (the # icon in post editor toolbar)

    The problem is the pc Crashes, the screen freezes with no response.with the only option to force restart the pc.

    In windows you mean?
    Try to boot with one memory module in slot 1 only, load optimized defaults, save and reboot into windows, see if there are any problems.
    You may want to test the memory modules individually with memtest86+, one module only in slot 1, then test the other slots.
    You may need more MCH Core for 2x2GB, 1.2-1.26v.
    Add your memory datasheet to your signature.

    tried MCH Core at 1.2 and it crashed (with my current bios setting unless i need to adjust something else at the same time)

    There was a guy that had to lower his MCH Core below 1v to be stable, so you may want to try that as well, try in the range of 0.9-1.2v. Otehrwise maybe a little more than 1.2v is needed.

    Is crashing during the memory test normal?
    1st time went to a black screen
    2nd time reached 65% and remained there.
