    Core i7 920 C0 @ 4009 mhz, crucial DDR3 1066 oc'd to 1688, HT enabled
    GA-EX58-UD3R, TRUE 1366 heatsink, corsair TX650 psu
BIOS settings - multi 19, BLCK 211, vcore 1.35v, QPI 1.335v, DRAM 1.5v all other settings set to normal
core temps - idle 40,40,40,36 - load temps with small FFT 69,68,68,65

Reseating heatsink with less AS5 (thin line method) knocked almost 10 degrees off load temps proving when it comes to thermal grease less really is more.

Dialed down to 3800 mhz for 24\7 with much lower voltages for peice of mind.

Nice OC mark, but you forgot to state your temps.

Hey peter, nice 4.0 voltages, what you use for 4.0 voltages i need the same to get 3.78. What voltages you use for the 3.8 24/7 settings you have and what temps you get with 3.8?

3.8 voltage settings in bios are : VCORE 1.25v, QPI/VTT 1.315v, DRAM 1.5v, all other voltages are manually set to stock settings.
My TRUE heatsink with an Ultra Kaze 3k rpm fan helps to keep temps down and provide stability under load ,but they're friggin loud. A fan controller is a must. Hope this helps, good luck.

yeah peter im using a noctua with the dual push pull fans, those are super quite, im thinking about moving my scythe slipstreams that move 110 cfm on to the heatsink , see if it makes a difference. I turned HT off and i automatically get 10 degrees off. Comparing my volts to everyone elses, im beginning to think i may want to reseat my heatsink... however i did setup my brothers system identical to mine and he gets identical temps, so im thinking it probly wont make a difference , just do it to see what happens. You think the scythes will have an impact on my cpu temp?

The single Scythe ( 3k rpm 133 cfm) dropped 6-7 degrees off my load temps compared to the single thermalright fan that came with the TRUE. Alot depends on ambient temps also as my basement is around 70f, but ya I think it'll help.

hmmm interesting, think ill mount both of my scythes ( gonna be a pain ) and see how it goes . Thanks peter. Yea ambients have a huge impact i've noticed. when its cooler outside at night time, my idle drops to 31-32 , lately it has been around 38-40 with the AC on full blast. Now im eager to see what happens when i swap out the noctua HSFs for the sycthes.

I don't know if it makes a difference but I'm only using 3 GB of ram (3x1gb).
