AS5 cure time is 200 hours. The verification your talking about bass, the thing that stops spammers right? should go away. I havent seen that thing in forever. I use a Sunbeamtech 4 fan controller, and i must say, $22 well spent. Quieting down these scythes 110cfm's is great, but i do notice a small buzzing starting to come out of one or both of em. Guess i gotta lube em up.

I almost bought some of those R4's , real good looking fans, egg says they 90cfm, elsewhere has lower specs somewhere as alisundoro posted.

Yarg, last nite playing RE5 it bluescreened on me once giving me error code 10e, and did it again after rebooting but just plain froze up with no error and had to hard restart. The second time i backed my settings defaults and it still happened. TF2 will normally freeze once a week or so, thats fine . But lately its been a routine thing and with RE5 beginning to get used to it, its now a problem to me.

Nothing is overheating(that i know of) . GFX card is staying under 60c and is not overclocked. Anybody heard of Bluescreen 10e?

    Hey

I have an Antec 1200 case with a lot of fans installed. My IFX-14 is installed horizontal because the Antec 1200 has a BigBoy fan in the top to pull out air. I have a Noctua NF-P12 blowing air up the cooler towards the bottom and another Scythe Flex in the middle as pull/push and then a Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000 rpm set to 2000 rpm (very silent) to pull. That Ultra kaze is very loud if set to 3000 rpm but it sure sucks the air out.

I have not had time to test which configuration that is the best possible with these fans but things woulk quite well as they are.

About TIM. I used to use a single drop of IC Diamond 7 carat but that I had trouble spreading out to reach all the corners on my processor. I think perhaps it was too old when I got it or perhaps its just that its best suited to spread as a thin layer. The temparatures were great but do not use too much of it. The 2 line method was working nicely with Mx-2 and such, but you really need to make sure that you do it across the processor in really thin lines and that you do not make the lines too long, because then you have it all over your processor.

Now the Coollaboratory Liquid Pro is amazing and it really is great. You just spread it out in as thin a layer you can (thin as possible) and then you make sure that when you apply it you do not drop any of it onto anything else that the processor. Read the manual please before use.

To dbee I have no special settings in advanced settings - my 4.4 GHz comes from a high vcore of like 1.48, but that i never run 24/7.

I use 4.2 on my daily use because I do a lot of gaming. These are my current temps with a vcore of 1.41 in BIOS. Room temperature is about 20 degrees celcius.

    hey dbee..

i saw on the coolermaster/forum... the fan that i posted on the link before actually was the old version.. the one that i bought was the new version.. its called "Cooler Master Silent LED fan 12 cm 2000 RPM" and written "90 CFM, 19 dB".. and its quite cheap. it only cost me 10 bucks.

    Nice results Poul.

That IFX-14 is a monster, and all your other temps are amazing (GPU Ambient 26 @.@).

Just one thing I don't understand is how you coretemps are so low. With HT=on, my coolest cores are on average 8-10 degrees warmer than my CPU temp.

    right now:
    CPU=30
    Cores 1/2/3/4 = 38/38/40/40...

My idle daytime temps are right around yours C3D76, and its completely normal for the cpu temp to be much lower than the actual core temps. I do not recall the exact reason for this and do not want to post flawed information , but my cpu temp is about 8c cooler than core temps.

NIGHT temps were pretty awesome last nite- idle between 31 and 34 on the cores and 30c on the GPU. GPU while gaming was even able to stay under 50, when it normally idles between 40-50c. Cores underload @ 3.8 with HT on stayed around 70c.

Literally, the difference in temps is night and day.

    Lol. Word...

Yeah, that's what I thought the norm was with the way HT works...
So, Pouls i7 is not normal then ^^. lol

Anyway, nice night temps there Dbee. I'm probably going to start ramping my OC up to "Winter Specs" pretty soon :)

    XD

I thought about doing the same thing Dbee. lmao.

I went with a 5870 instead of the Xeon w3520 I was planning on... I might still get it, just wondering if it is worth it.

By the way, I just sold an old x3350 for 180$ on craigslist. You might consider not frying your CPU and trying the same thing....
