    Hey all. Still pushing my vcore down. Last night i left off using a 1.33vcore in bios and 1.36 qpi voltage @ 3.7ghz.

    Anybody else have this situation? I get the not enough/too much qpi error when using 1.34, 1.36 is solid. Is this safe? Its stable and i think i can keep taking the vcore down a few more notches... Dropped my temps maybe a couple degrees.

    Yes you are fine with that QPI/Vtt, you can use much more than that as well. The QPI/Vtt just must always remain within .5 of the Vdimm is all

    Nope, you will be fine with x64 overclocking

    Ahh, good to know thanks, I had read an article on anandtech I beleive where they were having a tough time overclocking Phenoms II's in W7 64. It's good to know this isn't the case with the Core i7.

    Excellent LSD , thank you once again very much! Now we see how low this vcore can go!

    Here are some old screenshots with my temps under load:

    4.2GHz @ 1.44v (F4m)

    3.8GHz @ 1.248v (F4m)

    3.675GHz @ 1.2v (F3)
    http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/9...175autozq8.jpg (175x21)

    With current settings (20x200) I get the following. Ambient temp is on the high side...

    Idle:
    CPU=32-35, Cores=40-45

    Load (LinX)
    CPU= around 50, Cores=mid 70's
