hey something i just noticed , the "normal" voltage on the left hand column changes from time to, sometimes its 1.25,1.2675, 1.2750,1.2875 , right around there. what could cause the bios to recognize different "normal" cpu voltages?

Normal changes like auto for some things. If you need to find your VID for your CPU load optimized defaults and save/apply/reboot and then look and it should be shown.

ahhh she refuses to run prime for more than a min with 200x19 . Greedy thing wants more and more qpi. took it from the 1.36v qpi i currently have up to 1.46. Gives me about a minute or so in Prime. Downing the mem multi to 6 gave me about an extra minute on top of that. Its looking like the "sweet spot" on this one is 195x19= 3.705 using 1.3vcore and 1.36qpi. And i do believe there is more room to down the vcore , ran a 10hr prime the other nite very nice.

I have tried whats in my sig , bringing the blck to 200 takes my mem speed to 1600mhz using 8 mem multi and 17 uncore with 36x qpi.

I have also tried lowering the mem multi to 6x and the uncore 13x,also tried 14x on uncore, his takes my mem speed down to 1200mhz using the same timings of 8 8 8 24.

Qpi voltage stops at 1.5. Thats as high as it'll go. Something else funny is in order of the voltage increase increments, it goes 1.48, 1.50, and 1.48 again.

Ill try the 1.5v on qpi tonite, u think loosening the mem timings to say maybe 9 9 9 24 or even 9 9 9 28 to start would help?

Try x16 and x18 uncore instead of x17, I have seen several people's CPU's not liking the uncore at an odd number.

QPI Stops at 1.5? OUCH, I didn't know they crippled the UD3R like that, that sucks!! Some ram's XMP by default is 1.6

Also odd about your QPI Voltage comment about the increments. After the 31st I will ask my contact about this, please remind me. If it should be limited to 1.5 due to the board's design I wonder why there is 1.48 after 1.5, sounds like a bug either way to me.

Well if your ram is 1333, it may help a little bit. Not sure but it could just be that you are stretching that ram a bit too far?

Well i have had it stable at 1650 mhz a couple weeks back, dont recall what settings i did that with though. Even though, setting my mem multi down to 6x should cure that putting it down to 1200 mhz.

Ill let you know how it goes with the upped uncores.

Lol yea i guess my boards handicapped at 1.5, maybe a future bios will fix this?
