    Default Configuration for GA-EP45-DS3P

    Hello,

I have this motherboard GA-EP45-DS3P with an Intel E8400, and 2*2Go of GSkill F2-6400CL4D-4GBPI. The Bios version is F8.

I installed 64-bit Windows 7 (RC 7100). Can you help me to configure the BIOS because I have some reboot and some Bosd. And the Bios configuration is the Safe Default value.

    Thx.

The first step would be to load optimized defaults. Failsafe ones can sometimes, strangely make problems worse. I see what you have done by loading failsafes, and it's logical, but it's best to work on potimized default values to gain stability.

Have a quick search of the forum for "DS3P BIOS Template" and fill one in, posting it here. This way everyone can see what you currently have set, and what would be best to change to get things working propperly.

Sorry, my keyboard's been smoking crack again.

If using potimised defaults, be sure to keep a window open or burn some incense. If in the USA with their drug laws, where you may as well smoke crack due to cannabis being considered just as bad (LOL!) I'd consider some sort of charcoal filtration system.

Ok, I'll try to test it tonight. But you have just change two parameters : CPU Host Clock Control to Enabled and PCI Express to 100 or Auto?

Sorry that template I used is for overclocking, you can leave CPU Host control disabled and PCI Express I suggest setting 100 anyway
