    I agree ^^

Could be a faulty PSU or incompatibility ya never know. Either way glad to see you have resolved the issue now!

i am using cat 9.5, they seem to be real stable. 9.8 would lock up on me.

is there a way i can use the hybird crossfire with this setup? in device manager you can see both onboard and 4890 but in ccc there is no crossfire option

You can hybrid crossfirex with a ATI Radeon 2400 series card or a ATI Radeon 3400 series card. Which are 64-bit DDR2/GDDR3 memory interface cards. The card you have now will outperform the hybrid crossfire by about 4,5,6, and 7 times. The hybrid crossfirex is not even close to a single Radeon HD 3800 or 4800 series card. I have been there and done that. ATI CrossFireX? | GAME.AMD.COM
