    I have a few questions and then suggestions. Have you tested 2.00D? Can you test that now, with these suggestions.

    What are you setting for tRD (Static tRead Value), you did not enter your settings? For 2.00B you may use 7-9, for 2.00D you may have to use 8-10

    2x2GB will need MCH Voltage, often 1.8V-1.24V

    I'd suggest you start with trying 2.00D and setting your MCH Voltage as well as a higher tRD value to start with.

    Along with the suggestions from Lsdmeasap, it would be safer to set the following too:

    CPU PLL…………………....1.500V*.......: [1.570V] Also try 1.61V, but no more. Auto gave you a huge 1.85V which is definitely more than necessary.

    MCH Core…………….....1.100V...........: [1.240V] Try from 1.200V up to 1.360V. Use the lowest value possible to maintain stability.

    Quad cores can also benefit from an increase to the default CPU Reference. The stock value for this is 0.760V when CPU termination is 1.200V. You can try temporarily setting CPU Termination to 1.2V, setting a 0.785V CPU Reference and then returning CPU Termination back to 1.320V. You will see the CPU Reference voltage get higher when you set CPU Termination back up, this is normal and what you want to happen.

    Playing with CPU Reference and MCH Reference can help you to need less CPU Termination voltage if you set them right. In rarer cases it can also help you to lower Vcore. Stability is the main goal, but if you can adjust references and lower Vcore/CPU Termination while remaining stable, it's a good idea to do. I recommend trying it only after Lsdmeasap's advice though. You may find that references don't need adjusting.

    Good luck. Q9400's aren't known to be very good over clockers, and as such you may need more Vcore than 1.4V too, if you feel brave. The only 4GHz shot I've seen was on Xtremesystems, and the person was using 1.5V+ Vcore (on water cooling).

    Hello kenji :) me too from indonesia hehehe i saw u in forum KOC nice forum to share btw i used to log in forum CHIP ^_^ (indonesian language: gimana bro ,uda bisa 4GHz?)
    btw this is my SS Q9400 3,8GHz little tested Intel Burn Test 5loops passed standard level, i think my value in MCH and VTT is too high including vcore :( btw i only use this setting for benchmarking not daily... mydream is to reach 4GHz just like kenji :)
    Note: my VID is too high i think, its 1,2875volt... others get 1,2-1,22volt....unlucky me.

    Setting cpu pll higher is very dangerous, i read i could kill ur procie more quickly than setting vcore higher....so i think it safes under 1,6volt.
