    Default Ep45t-ud3p & e7400 oc

    Hi all, i'm new to all this so i'm asking for some help :)
    I'm looking to push my cpu to 3.6 or 3.8 if possible for 24/7,
    it would be only used for gaming.

    So, i've did some OC,but just a bit to see if i'm doing it right
    and managed to get it to 3.33 Orthos stable for 12 hours

    Your memory timins are fro DDR-1333 and you are running only DDR-1066, if you have XMP profile select it, leave timings on auto BIOS scale them to match DDR rate. CAS latency may not scale automatically, you may want to set it manually.
    Tighter timings may let you use a lower tRD (Static tRead Value) also knows as Performance Level (lower value is better.)
    Post a screen caprure of MemSet main and spd window.

    I dont have that option XMP in my bios :(
    i've set it to go on 1066 because i read somewhere it's good to have
    the same speed as FSB,or i'm wrong about that?

    and about that PLL, if you see from my BIOS code,i've only changed
    Vcore and DRAM voltage

    I meant the spd window of MemSet (click the "spd" button) can't see the timings in SPDTool.
    DRR-1066 is fine, but you may be able to use tighter timings and lower Static tRead for better performance.
    Try timings on auto anyway, even if there isn't XMP profile, adn repost MemSet main window again as well.
    You should be able to use 8-8-8-16 without any problem, possibly 8-7-7-16 or even 7-7-7-16.

    and will try auto and fiddle a bit with the timings

    but im more interested in OC-ing my CPU ;)

    You can see the timings for DDR-1066(533) are 7-7-7-16.
    Timings won't need to be change once you found stable settings as long you keep DDR-1066 (400x2.00D e.g.)
    With 400FSB it may be better to use 3.00D multiplier if you have it with 8-8-8-19 timings. For both DDR-1066 and DDR-1200 you should be able to use the default 1.5v DRAM voltage.
    The best way to find out is to do memory benchmark to each of the settings and see what give you best performance.

    Before you continue overclocking set voltages to their target value in EasyTune. CPU PLL is a bit high, start with 1.5v and increase it if needed.
    The reference voltages can be left on auto for now.

    Here is a BIOS template for 3.9GHz. The voltages (except VDIMM) are from my own config. I have used RAM multi's and timings that you will need, because my config uses DDR2. You may need to tweak voltages slightly, as all components vary. 3.8GHz is almost the same, but with 1.36V CPU termination and ~1.41Vcore. Note that the E7400 and E7500 have a different stepping to al other E7xxx CPU's (R0) and seem to require more Vcore at high clocks. YMMV.

    I'm not saying this config will work for you right away, but it will maybe give you an idea.

    You may need less Vcore, maybe more or less MCH voltage and possibly 0.740V MCH Ref at 1.2V CPU term. Note that MCH ref is often critical to getting a dual core stable at high clocks, regardless of FSB. For example with default MCH ref the machine fails prime instantly. I get a few hours stability at 0.740V MCH Ref and at 0.720V MCH Ref I can do 24 hour Prime Blend, 12 Hour Small FFT, 12 Hour Large FFT, 8 hour OCCT Large data set and 50 runs of Intel Burn test, all without error.

    My load temps are in my sig. Now summer is here I can hit up to ~63c with Prime95 Large FFT running for 1 hour. Those sig temps were for winter with a low ambient temp.

    Like I say, try the config, using your own values for RAM and adjusting the Vcore and MCH Core volts for your particular hardware.

    Good luck with the tweaking and don't give up!! It CAN Be done

    As for your PSU, not sure really. How much does your GFX Card draw? You may want to look into getting a newer larger one anyway as this is the MOST IMPORTANT part of your system
