Have you plugged a molex connector into the PCIE_12V socket (near the ram slots at the top of the mobo)? It's normally recommended with multiple video cards (page 17 in the mobo user manual), but it might help with the cold boot issue.

They don't ask for documents of purchase, at least not here in the US. They do want a invoice #, but you could put anything there I believe.

It just must be under 3 years old is the main thing, the rest you could explain or leave out up to you.

Did you find the S/N? If you need help locating it let us know

Hmmm ... US is different I think :-) . In Poland , where I live things like RMA are much more difficult , but maybe I will ask tech support about it - it doesn't cost me .

They will tell you that you need your invoice if you ask. Since you are dealing not in the US then you will likely need to have your invoice. That is unless you can explain to them how old it is nicely and get them to understand and agree.

Well look at it like this
The 775 cpu socket type is nearly 6 years old.(2004)
The cpu design type is near 15 years old if you take it that everything from the original 66-90 mhz pentium until cpu's before the i7 is really variations.thinner chips, more transistors, different pipelining, instuctrion sets etc..oh and grouping more pentiums on one cpu.

2nd quarter of 2007 manufacture isnt that old ,you probably couldnt buy the item until second half of 2007 and it would have been hot stuff in the cmas sales of early 2008.
My own "main system" is almost a year old now,the second half of 2008 but i have a backup pc which is 2006 and its not rubbish, tho it would be if i tried to sell it .

Today I received answer from GTS what they did discover via S/N which I have . So my mobo was bought by Polish distributor in August 2007 and never has been repaired by GTS .

Report from battleground - I downgraded bios from F6b to F4 and I'm able to OC my Q6700 to 3.2 Ghz (it is stable no BSOD at all - passed torture suite from Intel Burn Test 2.3) , problem is cold boot if I don't switch off my PC it works perfectly , also I use suspend S1 mode not S3 which I prefer , because from S3 my PC doesn't wake up also and I got cold boot .

    Any ideas ?

Save your current bios settings in a bios profile.
Load optimized settings and see if you have any better luck with cold boots.
Note: You might need to set MCH Core and Dram Voltages after loading optimized settings.

    Good Luck!
