Well here is an awsome update Chike, I just put the 1066 sticks into slots 2 and 4 instead of the usual 1,3 slots, and computer booted up fast and quick into windows with ease. So, I went back into bios and looked and it says that everything is on auto and it says my multiplier recognizes it automatically at 1066, I am amazed

So just to be sure, I manualy set the multi to 3.20 for 1066, set the timings manually for 5,5,5,15 manually, and DRAM voltage to 2.1v and also adjusted tRD to 7 manually, it detected it at 6 automatically but that sounded kind of low so I upped it to 7. Saved settings and exited and seems to work great now. gonna run Memtest86+ overnight tonight to make sure I am stable.

How can I check in either cpuz or ET6 to be sure I am running at 1066 and not 800? (cause I know that JEDEC standard is 800 and thats what it shows by default). I was looking in ET6 and went to "Tuner" then clicked on "Frequency" tab then Advance settings and looked where it says "Memory" and it says 1066, so I am wondering if that is an indicator that I am running at 1066?

    thanx again Chike ^^

CPU-Z memory tab will show the actual speed, DRAM Frequency 533 indicates 1066.
If you move them to slots 1 & 3 after you set everything manually would they work?

No they wont, I tried it before But the other 2x1 800 memory works just fine in slots 1 and 3. Gskill said on their website that I may have to try my 1066 ram in slots 2 and 4 to get it to work right, they said this has been a common thing for most people with my board.

And ya in cpuz under Memory tab it says 533.3 Mhz so I'm runnin at 1066 woot!

I mean after you set voltage and multiplier manually.
Not that much of a difference between 800 and 1066, but you get extra 1G if you running 32bit XP.

Well... I ran Memtest86+ for 11 hours and 18 passes with the 2x2 GB 1066 memory and had 0 errors. However, I tried IBT on maximum stress for 10 runs and the max memory it could use was 2048MB it said, (cause I run XP pro), so I just hit start and after only 2 runs it fails and says my computer is not stable at all. I dont understand cause when I have the 2x1 GB of 800 ram I ran 10 runs maximum stress and 0 errors, it passed great.

Anyone know what could be going on since Memtest86+ passed fine but IBT failed?

    thanx again guys ^^

Ok so I upped MCH core to 1.2v and re-ran IBT for 10 runs maximum stress (also max memory I can use in XP pro, 2047MB), and passed great with 0 errors, so I guess it was just the MCH core setting that cause that? Now maybe run Memtest86+ again?

    Thanx again Chike

Nah memtest is more to test for defects in memory less of a stress.
You can run Prime95/Orthos blend test overnight (8+ hours).
