    Awsome guys, I'm suuuuuuuuuper happy

Thanx for info on the benchmarks Chike I'll have to run some of those after work, which ones would be best to start with and can I download them from here? On IBT how do I know if I'm getting better performance results on Gflops when comparing?

THANKS AGAIN GUYS, YOU ARE THE BEST

Yes SuperPI mod, MaxxMEM Preview, and Everest(trial) can be found in the programs sticky.
When you compare benchmarks it's important to compare to the same software version as results may vary across versions even with the same settings. The actual numbers are less important, more important is to see the progress precentage

I myself would be pissed my memory rated for 1066 would only run 800, then chunk it in the trash after I bought some that would run as rated. Or is it 1.6 revision of the board?

Ne who good job with the tweaking Brigs.... GOT OVERCLOCKING?

Ya its a 1.6 rev Seems to be so many problems with this revision

On the other hand, as far as overclocking my processor, I would probly like to try that soon; I just basically want to OC a little bit, maybe to 3.0Ghz or 3.2Ghz. I have never OC'd my processor before on any computer and wouldnt mind trying a small OC on my Q9550; Hope I dont have to mess with the ram settings I just got stable to do so

But I'll start a new thread when I wanna try and do a little OC on my processor, cause I know by now y'all are sick of this thread and all my posts

Gonna try some of those benchmarks tonight Chike, thanx all

So for SuperPi Mod which digits of Pi do I select for system to be calculated? And for MaxxMem Preview do I use the one that says MaxxMEM²v.1.45-memory ?

    thanx again :)

SuperPI 1M and 32M are the most commonly posted results. There isn't much value to testing with values less than 1M. I always test with 1M through 32M and then save these results as a screen-shot for future reference.

With Everest, you can use the REPORTS function using BENCHMARKS to generate performance scores for about 12 categories, and you can save the results.

Not sure if this is real relevant, but I just did a 10 pass maximum stress test on IBT and my Gflops speed was around 21-22 for each of the 10 tests and the time was all around 121, is that bad, or irrelevant?

I compared it to other tests I have run on IBT and the Gflops on those 10 pass tests where around 36 and time was around the 71 range. So, are my time and Gflops worse now or better than before? Or does it not matter as long as IBT passes without errors?

    thanx again guys

It sounds like you didn't run the same stress level and amount of tested memory on each test.
Did you use Threads: AUTO for each test?
On my w2k system, Threads = 2 (instead of AUTO) resulted in 8 - 11 (C) higher temps with a big boost in my GFlops score for each test, and the completion time was much lower than with the AUTO setting.

I give far higher validity to other true benchmarking programs.
