    It appears that this problem has been solved with the latest BIOS F10 from the Gigabyte site (it is not a beta).

    Edit: This may have been fixed in one of the betas but I didn't test them.

    Gigabyte has aware of this. x48-dq6 already has a beta bios to solve it. if you still have Hal error, you could contact Gigabyte to provide a bios solution for it.

    I indicated that the lastest BIOS F10 fixed this problem. I'm not sure what you are trying to say.
