    I tried setting timings manually and then increased FSB only and MemSet showed the same values for both.
    I recall someone that had a problem where BIOS did not applied his manual settings and used defaults instead, clearing CMOS fixed it I think.

    thanks for getting back to me,

    i actually tried clearing CMOS, via jumpers and taking out the battery but to no avail. im still getting the same problem.

    I had another look and there was a difference between tRD 5 and tRD 7.
    With both tWTR was set to 3 @ 333FSB DDR-800, for tRD 5 MemSe showed tWTR 10 and for tRD 7 it showed tWTR 11. It could be that for higher FSB/ram speeds and different straps the difference is bigger.

    Yes there will always be a difference between these settings you guys are asking about, as mentioned in the guide. I wrote that with DDR2 in mind, using a 2.00 Multi at 900Mhz ram speed (Sorry, don't remember the timings I was using when I wrote it up). With DDR3 and or other multi's or speeds the differences will of course differ.

    This is really nothing you need to worry about, what you set in the BIOS will be applied properly
