    Default ga-ex-ud5 ..main bios checksum error...

    occasionally but not always, a main bios checksum error occurs on startup which then restarts the computer and enters windows 7 without problems. i mean it happens rarely but happens! how can i solve this problem?

    It is likely due to incorrect BIOS Settings or an older BIOS version that you need to update.

    Can you please follow the link in my signature to get a BIOS template and fill that out and post here with your specs and settings.

    Then I will see if I can help you get this corrected

    i have tried the bios template but did not correct anything..
    my specifications are : intel core i7 920 DO stepping, gigabyte ex58-ud5; corsair 6gb ddr3 pc3-12800c8 1600mhz; OCZ ModXStream Pro 700w Silent SLI Certified Modular Power supply; BFG GeForce GTX 275 OC 896MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card; creative sound blaster audigy 4 oem.

    You should use the bios template (for your motherboard) to fill in your current bios settings and post your settings.
    We can best help you if you add a detailed list of your hardware in your forum signature. Be sure sure to include:
    - bios version
    - motherboard version
    - link to your memory's model number and full specifications
    - operating system version

    The template is not for you to try, it is for you to give us your full current settings that you are using
