i don't think a sudden shut off is still cause by your ram. If you have problem with ram it will just gives you BSOD or it will not boot
Did you check your cpu temperature?

Try to load optimize to default do not touch anything let just see what will happened

bongkie, I am starting to think the same thing. but my cpu temps idle at 25c and under load I have seen them reach 40c max so that cant be it.

outtamyhouse the ram is installed in slots 2 & 4 (red). And Heres the Screenshot.

Also on another note. I was scanning through reviews on newegg of the patriot ram i had installed before the OCZ, the one we couldnt get stable. and theres people saying that that ram isnt compatible with this motherboard.... Well whatever, because i already have the ocz in and it still shuts down on me.

What about the NB? Check if it is moved or leaned. Don't try to move it, just press it down at the center, not too much force.

Haven't checked mine for a while and ambaint dropped since but it had been more than just warm then. If the HS is not with a good conract with the NB it might not dispate the heat as it is supposed to and stay cool.
I knocked mine when I isntalled the former CPU HS and had to push it back in place.
The computer also shuts down when idle or just under load?
