if you look in hw monitor in easytune youll see voltage cpu and in the box youll see actual voltage it should go up n down, and yes everything looks fine most bsod are caused by ram timings so i just suggested auto for hassle free and use xmp if you can i dont use it cause my ram doesnt support it to test ram use memtest on the overclocking tools on the main tweaktown gigabyte page

Gave me a bsod at first before entering windows, so had to reduce the memory multi @8, so rams are 8x180=1440MHz now.

"Auto" on timings gives 8-8-8-22 (by cpuz) so i ve been thinking if the sticks can do 10x180=1800MHz if i manually set the timings
    to 9-9-9-24. (rams are factory 1600MHz 8-8-8-24)

Do you know with which utility i should use to test which memory setup would be better performance-wise? 1440/8-8-8-22 or 1800/9-9-9-24?
Btw the xmp option when enabled gives a default vram of 1.66v so i left it enabled. Not sure on that also but i figure since its
    supported maybe its better on.

How do you comment on these settings/results/temps?
Oh i also downloaded the latest easytune but vcore is still nailed at 1.225 has no ups and downs.

Thanx in avance wazza and to everyone else.
did you set vcore to normal in the bios??? im running normal cpu voltage and qpi/vtt voltage at 1.26 also in advanced cpu you need to enable everything c1e ect

I suggest you use Everest Ultimate to benchmark and compare those memory speeds/timings. Also at 1800, be sure you test 899-24 and or 988-24 too as they may work for you.

Easytune will ONLY show you what you set in the BIOS, so if you set 1.225 then that is what you will see always

Finally found some time to get around it.
I'm now steady on 185*21 on "normal" vcore, ram multi 8x and uncore 20x (auto in bios) not following the 2x or 2x+1 rule.

Cpuz reporting 0.928 vcore when idle and 1.168v under load. I love that EIST function :D but as previously said, Vcore must be on "auto" or "normal" for this to work.

Tried both 200*19=3800 and 190*21=3990, both booted but bsod under prime with normal vcore but with HT on which I later remembered.
Guess it needs more vpower for those numbers but I think I ll give it a try with HT off and post if i get any steady results.

Here are my full settings to anyone whom it may concern, honoring the thread's title.

So, do you need help with the 190-200 Bclk or are you still working on it? Ya, I would assume you will need more vcore for sure

I would surely enjoy a 200bclk so my rams would work properly @1600 but I m not sure its worth the continuous steady above-1.2 volts power.

    Whats your thoughts on that?
Considering I also enjoy the vcore power throttling as the pc stays 24/7 for torrent sharing only...

Oh and btw how does the 20x uncore seem to you on an 8x ram multi?
Machine is rock steady, is it wrong to keep it at that and should i change it to 16x or 17x ?

Well you can always use a lower CPU multi, that may allow you to run with less vcore

x20 uncore is adding voltage to your system that you don't need, since you seemed to be worried about this. It is however fine to use if you want, I use x18 for x8 most of the time myself
