    Default Problem w/ Bios F10 for GA-MA-78GM-S2H rev1.1

The Bios F10 for GA-MA-78GM-S2H rev1.1 looses the ability to save Cmos to Bios profiles.
The Functions of the <F11> and <F12> keys is lost on Bios F10.
    For the Main Menu
When we flash back to the
F8 Bios it goes back to normal and we are able to save profiles again.

I know in Intel ones they had been playing with this, disabled in a few and then re-enabled later. I think it could have been for something they were testing with or issues with updated Qflash versions.

How is F9? I see both F9 and F10 released this month within a few days, so just wondered

F9 is the same as F10 It did not profile and the F11 and F12 were missing from the lower bar for your quick F# features. This was on the main menu page I double checked that. I thought it was my RAID but when I went back to F8 I was able to save profiles to floppy.
This may be a problem for some needing AGESA 3.5.3.0 and a save CMOS to ROM feature. I may not have noticed if Groonx2 did'nt bring it to my attention. Groonx2 suffered the surprise. LOL

They must have removed it for now due to issues with the latest Qflash. I am sure they are working to add it back in, you will just have to wait it out

They pulled the F9 Bios but they need the F10 for the Sempron 140 CPU

I sent Gigabytes Global Technical Service an email. I got a response in less then 24 hours.
They responded: Did you used the q-flash utility to updating the bios?
We will have our team look into the F10 bios
    I responded: Yes

You may need to clear the CMOS Fully and then use FlashSPI to update, did you try that? Sometimes if the DMI Pool or CMOS does not get fully cleared the update to Qflash may not happen fully, so maybe that is why they asked how you updated?

I'd try the things mentioned above, and see if you still have the issues with F10. Just a thought

Decided to wait for the reply from Gigabye Technology. I received it in another email.
Answer : Unfortunately the bios size is limited, when new updates are added it will require more space. In order to accommodate for the added new features. If you do not need the new features and wish to use the profile please revert back to the previous bios

Yes 1x8mbit on this board. Had to make room? It sounds to me like they need to clean out the closet or something.
