Thanks guys. I'm back in business running full speed with my wired LAN, using the builtin Realtek 8111D NIC. You guys were right on. I was getting cascading failures. First the wired LAN, then the wired connections to my Vonage boxes, finally the wireless gave out. It was the router alright. Went with dbee's suggestion and got myself a DIR-655 and I'm cruising again.

    Thanks again!

Nicely done Batavian, Very nice speeds. Puts my Comcast to shame, max d/l speeds i've gotten are 6mbps and 2 upload. Worst thing is i pay 65 a month for it.

I've been meaning to call them and complain for once. For $65 they offer 16mbps download.

How u like the features on the router so far? Really too many options in there.

It's DOCSIS 2.0. The best offers in my area of western New York is this 15/1 w/boost that Time Warner offers.

Those are awesome numbers you posted Buddha. I'm guessing I wont see anything like that until Fios arrives. Your system specs are very impressive as well. With numbers like that, you've got to be a serious gamer.

Thanks for the words of encouragement LSD. I know you don't remember me but you helped me sometime ago on the Kez forums with Vista Dreams. I like the TT site here as it has a lot more technical info. Cheers.
