Default EX58 UD4P fsb throttling under load

I just noticed today that when using prime 95 that CPU FSB as reported by Everest steadily drops after about 10 minutes showing an also reducing CPU Clock. The reported fsb drops all the way past 70mhz and below. Temps are never over 80c. I am set at bclk 205, multi 21, vcore 1.44.
The interesting thing is that Real Temp never changes from 205 x 21.
The multi reported by everest does not drop, only the fsb.
    I am suspicious of Everest.
    Anyone seen anything like this?

    Further testing:
I was running prime 95 from within the Real Temp sensor test. It was actually as it was going through cool down that the apparent throttling occurred though it was not shown in Real Temp. When I went directly to Prime 95 and ran it alone, no problems in Everest or Real Temp reporting. I think there was never a throttling problem as such, just a reporting problem. Furthermore, I am not aware of bclk throttling. Isn't it always a drop of multi?

I have had a few reporting problems in everest CPU-ID. Actually the same strange bclk fluctuations...
Use Cpu-z instead, and you'll see that what is actually fluctuating is the multi, and not bclk.

I think it has something to do with C1E, EIST, ..... Are you using those? If so, I would not worry.

    C1E and EIST are off.
I just ran the Real Temp sensor test with CPU-Z running. Everest reports a steady drop as before but CPU-Z hasn't budged. It is clear there is a problem (bug) with Everest.
    Thanks for the reply.

Oh ok. It's a little different than what I had then. But definitely an everest bug....
Mine would show lower multis with ridiculous bclk's (in the 300 range, lol)

It might also be your version of everest or your mobo BIOS. I say that because I haven't had this issue in months, and it must have something to do with updating one of the 2 (And I'm using C1E+EIST)

Still nothing to worry about though :)

p.s. currently using (outdated?) Everest v5.02.1750
