    Default Overclocking i7 920 D0 on EX58-UD4P

    So I got my i7 system last Friday and got the UD4P since I found a place that had it in stock. My i7 batch is a recent one, 3913B007, iam currently using the Zalman CNPS 9700 NT thanks to the 1366 mounting clip, its temporary untill I can afford a IFX-14 as its better than stock, temps are actually not that bad.

    I currently have 3.8GHz HT stable at 1.232v load in CPU-Z, 1.235v QPI and 1.18v IOH, everything else is stock. Testing 1.216v vcore and 1.16v IOH (rest stock) as I type this. From quick testing it looks like 4GHz HT is going to need 1.296v ~ 1.328v to be stable. I heard lots about 20x multi being hard to clock with but mine doesn't seem to care if its at 19x or 20x, both are acting the same.

    I tried several configs for 4GHz HT and possibly lowering volts for the current 3.8GHz HT (haven't even tried 3.9 yet) but I would like to know some configs that others think I should try for 4GHz, perhaps iam missing something? Specs in sig.

    These have been working for me to get 4.0Ghz in BIOS, 4.2 in Windows with Turbo Boost enabled. Always make sure Uncore is 2 x the speed of RAM, i.e. RAM at 1600, Uncore is @ 3200
