    Ahh there is the issue, you are not manually setting the Write to Read/Same Rank, so you can't set the others if you don't set that. To set tWTR you must set Write to Read/Same Rank, and you must set tWL

    Again please see here for more info I posted on all those settings with rules
    tRC ........................................ (Should be = tRAS + tRP or above for stability)
    tRRD .......................................
    tWTR ...................................... (Must be Write to Read Delay/Same Rank - (tWL + 4)
    tWR ........................................ 5-12 (Odd # values likely will fail)
    tWTP ....................................... (tWTP Must = tWR + tWL + 4)
    tWL ........................................ (tWL Must be CAS Latency -1)

    These can all be left on Auto if you like, you wont find any huge gains by tinkering with them, aside from RTL's which is a whole different beast.

    Ok this is a bit confusing. You say in order to get the TWTR I need to "(Must be Write to Read Delay/Same Rank - (tWL + 4)" does this mean I take the read/delay/same rank value and subtract TWL plus 4?

    Then you say "On the Same Rank......................8-13 (Depending on tWTR choice) " Well if the same rank depends on TWTR choice and in order to get the TWR number I need the same rank number, this doesnt make sense. Which comes first if both values depend on the other one to get it?

    Lets say Im going with TWL as 7 what does the twtr work out to and what would the same rank number be?

    Yes, for example as I posted in the above link here is some exact settings that work per each rule defined


    Main Timings 787-20

    tWTR ...................................... 2 (Must be Write to Read Delay/Same Rank - (tWL + 4) So here we have Write to Read Delay/Same Rank 12 - tWL 6 + 4 = 2
    tWR ........................................ 10
    tWTP ....................................... 20 (tWTP Must = tWR + tWL + 4) So here we have tWTP 20 = tWR 10 + tWL 6 + 4

    tWL ........................................ 6 (tWL Must be CAS Latency -1) So here we have CAS Latency 7 - 1 = 6
    tRTP ....................................... 6
    I am confused now about what you are confused about.....

    But You are right, one number depends on another number, which then depends on another number. Some of them you must be thinking about 3 settings at once when you adjust, others only two

    If you use tWL 7, you can use any of the above values I previously mentioned, but you need to keep the rules in order.

    Lets take this for example using tWTR of 5 and 888-24 timings, all settings that follow if you set tWTR at 6 must be as noted, otherwise you can change any value as long as you keep the ratios mentioned

    CAS Latency Time ......................8
    tRCD .......................................8
    tRP .........................................8
    tRAS .......................................24

    ##Channel A Advanced Timing Control##

    tWTR ...................................... 5 (tWL 7 +4 (=11) - Read to Write/Same Rank 6 = 5)
    tWR ........................................ 8
    tWTP ....................................... 15 (8 tWL + 7 tWR)
    tWL ........................................ 7



    Channel A Writes Followed By Reads


    On the Same Rank...................... 6

    Those values may or may not work for your ram/voltage settings, ect, but I hope that better explains to you how the rules relate.

    If not please, again, read the post I made at XS linked above, as I spent a good hour trying to write it out so everyone could understand.

    I know it may difficult to understand, but don't feel like you can't understand, it will just take you a minute to see how it all relates.

    Sorry I tried my best to explain it easy, but there really isn't any easier way to explain it all. Best way I found is to get a few papers in front of you, write out the rules for each setting and then make a chart for each of what will work with each setting based on the other settings.
