    Default UD3P + E7400 + OCZ Platinum 1066 settings help

I'm a complete noob when it comes to overclocking. In order to bump up my CPU I used EasyTune6 tune 1 (3.2GHz, FSB 1600MHz) and have been running Prime95 without any errors.

Can any of you OC Guru's help me with my settings to make it better?
    Thanks again

Your settings suggest you haven't loaded optimized defaults, it is recommended to begin with optimized defaults.

For basic setting to begin with see this post.
My oppinion is that XMP should be left auto, or set to one of the desired profiles, with memory timings on auto, at least untill you done with CPU overclocking.

Could you post a screen capture of MemSet main and spd(click spd) windows?
You can find MemSet and other useful programs in http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/late...30/#post284762

I followed the directions from the link. I changed all the values except those in the voltages.

Here is the screen capture of memset. Thanks again for the help.

Actually it is the voltages, other than the reference voltages, that need to be set manually instead of being left on auto, then you'll need to find the value needed for your overclock.
Timings look as they should be, Pergormace Level (Static tRead Value in BIOS, or tRD) can possibly set for a lower value for better ram performance.

See this post for how to create a screen capture that is somewhat more clear. Paint can be used instead of IrfanView.

Please repost your current settings, it is hard to keep up with just changes, and it doesn't cost more :-)

Should I changed it to the value on the left instead of auto?

Yes the values to the left to begin with, then adjust those need to be adjusted. CPU Voltage almost for certain and probably CPU Termination and PLL too (maybe not at 3.2GHz OC), MCH Core might need to be increased too. Leave references on auto for now.
Did you load optimized defaults yet?
You should be able to set Static tRead Value to 8 or 7, it's under Channel A/B Timing Settings.
Driving Strength Profiles should be under Channel A/B Driving Settings, you can leave them auto.

Optimized default? This would revert all the settings to default?
