    Ya sorry if we both jumped on that kind of quick and if we sounded crazy, we just see it all to often.

    Please try MCH 1.24 and Vtt 1.32-1.34 with More Vcore, such as 1.35-1.4 as well as Pll 1.56-1.58 if you have those options

    Please also set Driving strength per each channel to 1066

    NeoStorm,
    Please add your hardware setup to your forum signature, including mobo version #, bios version, psu brand/model, etc. This makes it much easier for us and cuts down on possible errors.

    Lsdme,
    Is it possible that the EP45-UD3L defaults to 800 for both Clock Drive settings?

    I will check, one sec... But I can say now Doubt it highly

    Those to do not overly concern me as much as the hidden settings do, not sure what all is hidden but I do know there is plenty that we can't adjust

    *edit* can't tell, but again I doubt it highly

    I understand, but are there other visible settings that would tip us off to the fact that optimized settings were NOT loaded?

    No, the clock drive ones are the only visible ones. I think there may be a few in the super advanced settings that we don't use in templates but not sure

    In the manual the show 800/800.
    My EP43-UD3L defaults to 800/800 as well. I thought it to be the chipset but might as well be being the "L" version.

    Really? Hmm, well maybe we jumped all over that for nothing then. Well either way, at least now he will start with optimized for sure even if he did not before.

    Yes, it's 800/800 in my manual as well. I confirm.

    Ok, I tried many variations like you said:

    MCH = 1.24
    VTT= 1.32-1.34
    Vcore= 1.34-1.4
    Don't have the option to set PLL for something between 1.55 and 1.65 so stayed at 1.550.
    Driving strength = 1066

    No variation worked. It all failed to boot into windows.

    So now my bios settings are:

    Could you try CPU Ratio 8 to confirm if it is FSB issue or CPU clock?
