Default Help GA-EX58-UD3R Boot Loop-New Build

Hi everyone, Put together my first i7 and have the boot loop issue.
1-2 seconds on with low fans and mobo lights then off for 4 seconds and repeat.
I research all the post i could and now my head is spinning and thinking i should return the board but first i want to run this by you all here and see maybe i am missing something to try.
I have tried different video card and power supply, 0 ram to 3 sticks, Checked all connections, Cleared CMOS.
When i disconnect the ATX12V 8-pin from the mobo the computer stays on. But no screen activity though.

    My components are:

    GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD3R ATX Intel Motherboard

    Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor

    OCZ XMP Ready Series 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Voltage Desktop Memory

COOLER MASTER Intel Core i7 compatible Hyper N 520 RR-920-N520-GP 92mm Sleeve CPU Cooler

CORSAIR CMPSU-620HX 620W Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply

COOLER MASTER COSMOS 1000 RC-1000-KSN1-GP Black/ Silver Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case - Retail

    (2) Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB 3.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Internal Hard Drive

    VGA POWERCOLOR AX4350 256MD2-H RTL

    I appreciate any help.
    Thanks

how did u get on? and did you plug graphics card into the highest blue slot? and yes the motherboard will stay on if u disconnect the 8pin power<-- it feeds just the cpu so board will stay on but processor wont run

When i took it all apart to start fresh i notice i had a extra stand off screwed in.
Hopefully no damage was done. Everything seems fine at the moment. I also resat the Hyper N520.
