    Default i7 UD3R 22x Multiplier

Hey guys, was playing around last nite getting some stock temps using optimized settings and fail-safe defaults.

After a few minutes of idling i noticed the multiplier went up to 22x on my i7 920 C0 and UD3R. Yes it did and i am not crazy. Has anybody else run in to this before? If anybody has, do you know why this happens ?

Anybody who knows anything about the 22x multiplier , and how to get it to stick when using my settings , please inform me. It only does this when i use the fail safe defaults...

Somebody knows something... LSD? I have heard of this before, seen something regarding it recently but have witnessed it myself last nite . Screens will be up tonite around 8pm for your viewing pleasure (as long as my comcast internet does not continue to act up ).

    Thanks all

Afaik Turbo Boost can increase the multiplier by 2 steps when less than 4 or 3 (not sure) cores are active, so it's perfectly normal.

Edit: Actually I just checked, it just does it when there's only load on one core.
