Ya, I know what you mean!

Just letting you know as often as I can how much I personally appreciate your help here with AMD. I always felt terrible in the past not being able to offer much advice on AMD Setups and we didn't have any other active AMD members such as yourself.

    So thanks again!

Press <Enter> on this item and then press the <Y> key to load the optimal BIOS default settings.
The BIOS defaults settings help the system to operate in optimum state. Always load the Optimized defaults after updating the BIOS or after clearing the CMOS values.

OK do the Ctrl+F1 routine. Do you see another line (Advanced Chipset Features)? Highlight and enter it. Set the NB Power Management on Auto Set the SB710 Spread Spectrum to Disabled now you should be able to independently change the CPU Northbridge frequency and the CPU HT frequency

I'm sorry if this was confusing Maybe I should have left that line out. It was for reference only. You are locked at X14.5 and could change the multiplier if you had a BE but you don't so you need to change CPU frequency to gain an OC. When CPU frequency is changed the memory frequency, Northbridge frequency, and HT Link frequency also changes with the cpu frequency. This is why you need to reduce the memory clock Northbridge frequency and HT Link frequency. The Southbridge has no adjustment for frequency, but you can raise the voltage a little.
After you make the changes save and exit bios and boot into windows and download Prime95v25.11 for your OS to test stability. You can find it here I added this one to my favorites---->http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/late...y-tools-30530/
