In the bios, under advanced memory settings. If I leave XMP disabled, the default memory frequency is 1333. The memory is rated at 2000. What do I need to do to manually set it? System Memory Multiplier(SPD) is set to auto,

    XMP: Disabled
    SPD: Auto
Memory Fequency (greyed out) 1333 1333
    Performance Enhance : Turbo
DRAM Timing Selectable (SPD) : Auto
Profile DDR Voltage (Greyed out) : 1.5v
Profile QPI Voltage (Greyed out) 1.1V
    Channel Interleaving 6 Auto
    Rank Interleaving 4 Auto

What is your bclk? You need to change your memory multi (SPD) from auto to whatever x Bclk equals 2000. If you are 133 Blck then you would need to use 15 memory multi to equal 2000 as 133x15=1995

You will however need to set your own QPI/Vtt and ram voltages, I would set QPI/Vtt high fist so you can get booted, then lower later on

I am not sure. I have an i5 750. 20x was the cpu clock. If I enable XMP Profile 1, the memory is now at 2000, however the cpu clock is 13x (13x200).

Which is it? 200 or 133?

Do not use XMP, you are only confusing us both :)

Not using the xmp (which i currently have disabled), its 133, which gives me default (no oc) speed for the i5 of 2.66
Bios defaults to 1333 for the memory.

I found that the default should be 20x133 for the CPU.

So you will need to use 15 Memory multiplier, if you have it? Or raise your Bclk to whatever x your highest available memory multi = 2000

I believe the highest memory multiplier was 10 =/
What do you suggest for the bclk then? 200 ? After changing that 1 value, manually set the ram vcore and timings and that should be it?

Yeap, if your memory multi only allows x10 then you will need at least 200 Bclk to run 2000Mhz ram speeds

Thanks for the help. Really appreciate it. Would I have to increase any other voltage besides the ram, for this 200 bclk?
I assume I would need to lower my CPU Clock Ratio also? Setting 200 bclk, puts the cpu frequency at 4.00ghz (200x20). 20x was the default cpu clock ratio
