re: Chikes comments about the larger than normal spread in GFlops scores.

My systems have very little spread in GFlops scores, including my E2140 cpu with a stable 75% overclock to 2.80GHz.
Neither of my systems approach your 4.20GHz overclock.
I'm going to PM 2 other members with 4.00 or higher overclocks to post their IBT logs to this thread.

Agreed, 10 - 20 IBT loops is sufficient. More than that is overkill.

If your system fails IBT or Prime95, raise VTT by 1 click and re-test.
With your Cpu Vcore = 1.31250, VTT up to 1.26 (if necessary) is within reason.
In some cases with high overclocks, members have used VTT very close to Cpu Vcore.
As with most voltages, you want to use the lowest voltages that pass extended stability testing.

**edit** Check out this post for Intel's maximum rated voltage for VTT for the series 4 chipset (e.g. EP43/45).

I suspect IBT just sample FSB and multiply it by the highest multiplier, so if sampled 442 instead of 443 it gives 4.19.
Slightly better results and unity, how are core temps?

    Temps are
    Min
    Core 1*= 34
    Core 2*=31

    Max
    Core 1*=69
    Core 2*=68

Temperatures are measured using Core temp

Its nearly reached the 72 degrees..are the temps dangerous?

@profjim = I used setting using *Auto for threads

Looking better, GFlops speeds are more consistent and higher than the post #37 results.
Did you use Threads = 2 for your C2D? What were the maximum core temps?
