    Do you have stable 4Ghz already? If so, then 4.2 should be easy. Your ram can likely do 900Mhz at least, but you need to set 1.9V likely

    What exact settings are you trying that fail, post them and I can try to help you get them going.

    Static tRead Value ---------------------: [8] <-- for both memory channels [A snd B]

    Everythign is stable but when i put those settings above my computer doesnt post.

    I changed the Static tRead Value to 8 in myprevious post and it didnt post..i rkn its the tRead value.

    At the moment the tRead value is on 9

    Edit: I am happy to put my cpu lower around 4ghz if may be

    Well not sure, since you are not sure? HAHA

    You tighten up your memory after you get stable, and sounds like you are not stable yet so no you don't want to tighten up your memory just yet

    2.00D is a looser NB Strap, and tRD of 9 is looser than 8. That is why I suggested those, they are looser not tighter. That way you could rule your memory out as the cause of some instabilities

    Should i do underclock my cpu? would 4.20ghz gain more performance?( Since i have crap ram) than having it at 4ghz?

    Edit: Have done prime 95 for 18hrs with no errors assuming its stable?

    Ya 18 hours is pretty stable really!

    4-4.2 is not much difference, so if you can get 4 stable much easier then it may just be worth it to leave it that way until you have some better memory.

    So.... are those settings stable and what you want help with setting your memory timings better/tighter? If so let me know, and please check with Everest what BIOS Setting of 1.8 and 1.9V ram voltage give you once inside windows.
