Max stress level give any better results? I get a bit more GFlops/core at 3.8GHz.
WTH and still stock vcore? No justice did I say already? I take it LLC is enabled.

Nah you can do as much as memory available or 2GB, not sure. I do all mine with 1624MB.
32bit OS should be capable to access 4GB address range, with some reserved for system use. Linux 32bit applications for example can use up to 3GB of memory and the system itself is not limited to 4GB.

well get value for your $.
Thats what were looking at here really.
    Bespoke boards,ie adjustable bios
    aftermarket coolers
    good memory(clockable),etc

Its like ,since u have an nvid gx card

with the new 1.9 gx card drivers i can get my 9600gt to 740mhz gpu and 1040mhz mem(mem is ddr3).

It takes a bit of experimentation to get the right settings/clean out the old drivers etc etc.

of course one of the new bog standard ati 5 series cards would blow it away.

Ive posted my sig with the 490cpu ref settings I use.You should get 3.5-4.ghz ok doesnt matter all that much what aftermarket cooler you have.a few mghz here.a few mghz there.

changing your cooler to a true or V8 say would give you nothing much in performance compared to yours(mho) as long as its installed properly.

Good point kick, I bet he could run 3.91 easy, but stress testing is just that = HEAT everday use it would be just fine. Maybe ~50 C max even playing games...

Wow Conners your loop times are incredible @ 19! Mine are at friggin 65..

And runnin that fast and only getting 61c, thats pretty amazing, (As I try and justify my mind into why I should order a V8 cooler... someone slap me quick!) lol

So Conners, do I just need to get my OC in your range to get those kind of loop times?

Ambiant is also a factor, so you need to compare it too.
