    The R4-L2R-20AC-GP is rated 70CFM, the R4-L2R-20CK-GP is 90CFM

The specs are really 1800 RPM/69.69 CFM/19 DBA. The R4 series 120mm fans mentioned in the OP are 2000 RPM/90 CFM/23 DBA. And yes those fans are awesome (the 90 CFM ones). I have five of them, soon to be 8.

I guess if their 1800 RPM then yes, other wise if their 2000 RPM then 90 CFM....

Ya I need to get a couple of them CM R4 90 CFM 120mm fans

Was wondering, If I am running all stable at 3.4ghz on stock 1.2500v vcore, is there any reason to up vcore a notch; I mean, would it help anything or just make me possibly unstable and my temps go up?

i.e. Is it better ,OCing wise, to be able to OC as far as you can get without having to touch the cpu voltages?

The specs for R4-C2R-20AC-GP which I ordered are 2000RPM and 69CFM, but the label on the one I recieved is R4-C2R-20CK-GP and it's 2000/90.
For the side I have 90mm 40CFM fan operating at ~70%, seems to be enough. I'll know better when I get the thermocouple and run some tests on the NB.

Where you gonna put 8 of those? LOL

More voltage = more heat Brigs, no matter what OC you have... I would just try 3.6 with your current settings and see how your temps do...

As far as the fans go whatever you do make sure their 90 CFM @ 2000 RPM and have the people you buy them from guarantee to replace them them if the only get 1800 RPM as like chike says their only 70 CFM fans...

I agree totally Chike with what your saying. Just googling the same two P/N yelids two four diffrent results for both fans. Some say 70 CFM and some say 90 CFM. LOL not me that was just a quote from cooler master forums, he was gonna have 8.

But if it add to the GFlops I'd incerase it. You want the lowest voltage but also max performance, so if you can get 0.5+ GFlops it may be worth it.
BTW if your LLC is enabled it eliminates like 0.05-0.1v vcore drop+droop, so 1.25v vcore with LLC is like 1.3-1.35v without it.

So are you saying that if I am at stock 1.2500v vcore it would be more beneficial for me to have LLC enabled? But, if I decide to up vcore a notch to see if it helps with GFlops, would it then be best to disable it?

I was just saying that it's different if LLC is enabled.
I don't know if a noch more vcore is needed or if it is enough, you may not need it or need more than a notch, it's something you need to experiment.

Hey Brigs, here is just a sample. I bought the Thermalright_Ultra-120_eXtreme_Rev_C_CPU_Heatsink. Here the first test using the supplied thermal paste let it idle for about 20 min to get idle temp and then 10 passes of LinX at 3.6 9x400 at I think 1.3v with llc

At first run this HSF is just as good as my water setup running cpu gpu in same loop with 2 radiators. Gonna do a couple more runs see how far I can push it then try some AS5 and see if temps drop. I might even lap it as you can feel swirl marks from when they machined the bottom smooth which aint very smooth. Also I had a hell of a time fitting it on the MB. Can only set it up to have fan facing front to back. Cant get it to face top to bottom if I wanted. Unless you mod both the NB cooler and what ever is above the cpu as the brackets hit both and even then I had trouble mounting it facing front to back.

Gpu is back on air to using the accelero extreme gtx 280 cooler. I dont remember what the stock temps were like and I havent stressed out the gpu yet but idle from water to air went from 36c to 59c

Any way enough of me rambling on but if you do decide to chance HSF I am very impressed with this one at first glances.
