What is this? I thought you only have one CD Device connected via IDE Cable, and one Drive SATA Connected to SATA2_0

IDE Channel 4 Master [_NEC DV-5800D]
    > IDE Channel 4 Slave [ None ]
    > IDE Channel 5 Master [ HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA- ]

So where are each of those connected exactly, and what is each one

OK, confused me for a minute.

Hey do you have 4GB USB Stick, or larger? If you do, you may want to try Vista or Window 7 install from USB

Have you tested your disk drive yet with Seagate Seatools, please do to be sure it is not faulty >>

Can i "burn" a ISO into a USB? sry to ask, i havent done this before. If so, how do i do it? In a regular cd/dvd burning software? Or just copy the ISO into the USB?

WEll, I've tried dragging the ISO into the USB pen, and tried the 4 boot options in the BIOS, i've set it for first boot device but nothing. Maybe i have to extract the files from the ISO?

Yes, i've seen how its done, thank you though. But i ran to a problem on this laptop, it doesnt detect the USB in the "list disk". However, the beeps do come from the Back Panel Connectors, im trying to isolate the sound to know precisely where it comes from, and i have to say that its around the USB_LAN connectors area. Also, i've been checking out some forums and came across some interesting info, it seems like Windows Vista/Windows 7 dont support certain DVD/CD drives, might be the reason why Vista asks for the CD/DVD controller. My DVD drive is a LG, but it has about 4 years old, i dont know if i can find something for it.
