What are you talking about Laptop and list disk? Sorry I did not read the guides myself, if you are having an issue with diskpar/diskpart you can skip listing disks if you know the disk #, they are in order if you look at Manage disks in windows. That order from top to bottom is the disk # and will be the same in those programs as well.

Hmm, how about testing like I had you do with LAN, but this time USB. Disable all of them and enable all of them and see if the beeping still occurs.

Yes, XP is even that way. Sometimes older or rarely used drivers never get added into compatibility lists for BIOS compatibility thus the drives never function properly or at all. I have seen this many times when working with older clients systems

I use/suggest Asus SATA CD/DVD Drives, Shhh don't tell gigabyte I'd likely use Gigabyte ones but they don't make any

They are quite, fast, and decently priced. Here is the model I have used lately most often in builds
    Newegg.com - ASUS Black 20X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+R DL 20X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 14X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2MB Cache SATA 20X DVD±R DVD Burner with LightScribe LightScribe Support - CD / DVD Burners

You can pickup one here if you like
ASUS drw-2014l1t SATA lightscribe DVD rw drive w/sw (retail black+white)

Yes, I know, but the USB drive is not detected in the "list disk" only the HDD, and its strange cause this laptop is HP and the USB is HP. Im accessing the forum via laptop, cause my PC (the beeping one) is becoming just part of the apartment's furniture. I cant stand the beeps anymore. I think what im gonna do is to RMA and wait for a new MB, if it still beeps at least we know it wasnt from the MB. What do you think? And ill wait till then to install the OS.

Ohh, sorry! You can manually copy to the USB instead of trying to do it that way. Use a program like UltraISO

Do you want me to find you a guide that does not use diskpart?

    Here use this one >>
    http://www.blogsdna.com/2016/how-to-...-7-iso-dvd.htm

Or actually, I just read one of the guides. All they are doing that for is to format the disk, you can do this yourself without diskpart. Just use disk management or right click the USB drive and choose format NTFS

It helped, its now formated into NTFS - hey, its the first battle we won. 2 battles left, windows installation and the beeps. I know that by this time you cant wait to get rid of me but thank you again for your patience with my case. Let's see if i can install windows this time around. I'll test the USB sets in the BIOS as well.

Ahh no worries, I am here to help!

Good luck with the install, hope it works this time!

Be sure you move your USB to first in the boot order and boot priority as well so you dont run into issues installing

Well...couldnt make it, a friend just lended me a windows XP 64 SP2, results: blue screen saying STOP: 0x0000007B (0xFFFFFADF5CE323C0, 0xFFFFFFFFC0000034, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000) and a windows 7 ultimate 64 that im trying to install now, dotn really know if its going to be succefull or not, we'll see.

The USB didnt work as well. Tried everything, no success.

Now the beeps, any more ideas of what they could be?

I've spent a pretty penny on this PC, but honestly im getting tired of it and this whole beep/failed installation situations... sry, i just had to get it out of my chest.

(Just an update, windows 7 spent 2 hours expanding files, i finally got tired and rebooted to disconnect the PC)

Ok, i fixed the beeps, found the solution AT LAST!!!! Now i only have to concentrate on what is wrong with the windows installation. People, if u have a V10 heat sink disconnect the molex power cable, it will still work, but the TEC is very often faulty and will start beeping!
