    Ok. After reading Cincyrob's thread, I realized I could get a good o/c at far less voltage than my previous settings. So I tinkered a bit and here is where I am now. With these settings, I can run IBT stable, 20 passes using 90% of available ram. So where can I go from here? I still want 4.0

    The higher IBT results are twice as I had at the same clock, which means truly dowble the computing power of a dual-core. I would still check on the differences between the resultsmaybe a little more vcore is needed.
    Another thing, I see may others with the Q9550 using less vtt and pll for even higher speed, have you tried decreasing them yet?

    Try these... also on MCH/DRAM Ref and DRAM Termination if DRAM Voltage is higher than 1.8v set those two to one half of the dram voltage.

    Roger that! I will report back. Question I asked previously. When ET6 is open at the advanced voltage page, there are 2 columns. I see the white column has my current settings. What does the gray column mean?

    Ok. Used Conner's recommended settings. Here's where I am at.

    1. At the settings suggested, I was able to log into Windows but the computer froze after approx 1 minute (no bsod).

    2. Increased vcore to 1.2625. I was able to navigate in Windows. I started running IBT, 5 pass, small FFT. IBT failed on the second pass. About a minute or two later, I got a bsod. The code was 0xffffffff.

    3. Increased the vcore to 1.2875. I got to the log on screen and got a second bsod. The code was 0x00000101. Never got into Windows.

    4. Decreased the vcore back to 1.2625. The computer went into a re-boot loop. On the third loop, it went to a black screen. This happened twice in succession. I shut down the computer because I had to go to the store.

    5. An hour later i returned, turned on the computer. I am in Windows and all is well atm. I'm going to run IBT again and see what happens. Brb.

    After failing IBT in my previous post, I ran it again at the same settings it first failed. Seems odd it now passes. This also doesn't explain the bsod's.

    1. Passed 5 pass, small FFT.

    2. Passed 10 pass, small FFT.

    3. Passed 10 pass, 90% ram usage.

    You probably will have to play with Vcore, CPU Termination, and or MCH Core voltages up or down a bit.

    I raised CPU Term to 1.24. That allowed me to pass IBT, 20 pass small FFT. I then ran IBT, 20 pass, 90% ram usage. It failed on the 6th or 7th pass. I then ran IBT, 20 pass, small FFT & passed. Do I increase CPU Term more or raise MCH?

    Raise your MCH Core up and test. Also raise your Vcore up one notch, you can always come down later.
